New Executive Actions Give Indication of Regulatory Priorities of Trump Administration

 On the first day of the new President, the media has reported that he signed a large number of Executive Actions.  Interested readers can find some (or maybe all) of them on the whitehouse.gov website.  Of interest in the private employment sector are two executive actions to agency heads that will take time to implement (particularly if current regulations were implemented through the Administrative Procedure Act notice and comment process), but can give both employers and employees advance notice of what it is to come.    These actions are so recent that they do not even have an official Executive Order number, so I am simply linking you to the whitehouse.gov site:

DEFENDING WOMEN FROM GENDER IDEOLOGY EXTREMISM AND RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

 Sec. 7.  Agency Implementation and Reporting.  (a)  Within 120 days of the date of this order, each agency head shall submit an update on implementation of this order to the President, through the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.  That update shall address:
